Eazy Dog Training obedience classes in Southern Sydney. Join today!
We all want an obedient dog, there’s no doubt about that. Your dog’s manners reflect on you when you are out and about with your dog, especially when you go to nice off-leash areas such as the lovely parks we have in Sydney to enjoy. A dog’s behaviour is shaped by their personality, experiences and environment, however, training has a huge effect on how dogs behave. Just like with us, most of their behaviours are learnt. We just have to ensure they are learning the right things! And let’s face it, training your dog at least the very basic obedience skills around distractions is a crucial part of being a responsible dog owner.
Dog Obedience Class Penshurst
In my Eazy Dog Training obedience classes in southern Sydney, we focus on skills that make a dog a pleasure to be around – and be around others too! We will focus on great impulse control skills and focus exercises that will improve your dog’s engagement with you- which is very important outdoors! You will learn how to calm your dog down around distractions and gain better control around exciting things such as other dogs and people. And learning to control and manage your dog better will give you and your dog more quality time together outdoors!
Adult Dog Training Classes in Penshurst
All my basic obedience classes in Sydney include all the basic obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, recall and heel. You’ll also learn impulse control skills such as leave it – with food and objects – and passing other dogs in a polite and calm manner.
And we practise all those difficult issues that many people struggle with, like pulling on a lead, distraction training and jumping up on people. And after just 4 weeks you’ll know how to handle more challenging situations and how to continue improving your dog’s behaviour out and about. After all, it’s all about practice with dogs too!
