Advanced Dog Obedience Class in Sydney - You don't have to do obedience level 1 class first, you can join this class if your dog knows the basics already!

This advanced dog obedience training class in Sydney is for anyone who wants to keep training and challenging themselves and their dog further, perfecting daily obedience and manners. In this class, your dog will learn to master more challenging obedience and impulse control skills. It will be a lot of fun for both you and your dog and will ensure better control of your dog’s behaviour anywhere you go.

In this dog obedience class in Sydney, we focus on more advanced training such as reliable commands with duration, distance and distractions, fading out rewards and body language, impulse control around distractions such as moving objects/other dogs/people, calming down and being able to accept and like being tied up.

In this 4-week dog obedience training course, we focus on all the important manners and obedience skills that make a dog a pleasure to be around and your life easier. You will learn great impulse control and focus exercises to calm down your dog in exciting situations and improve their manners even if you aren’t there right next to them. And we practise all these skills with other dogs and people – after all, that’s the real world!

Advanced Dog Obedience Class Includes:

Positive reinforcement

There are many kinds of dog-training methods available for training your dog. However, the Australian Veterinary Association recommends positive reinforcement as the best method. Positive reinforcement rewards wanted behaviour rather than punishing unwanted behaviour. Therefore learning becomes more enjoyable for your dog, and it will help to strengthen the bond you have together.
