Frequently Asked Questions
What training methods do you use?
The dog training methods used in my Eazy Dog Training School are positive, reward-based and fun for both you and your dog.
Reward-based dog training is motivational and scientifically the most efficient dog training method.
What's included in your dog training classes?
Training includes learning basic manners and how dogs learn, and then moves on to more advanced exercises such as stay, not jumping up, walking on a loose lead with distractions, coming when called with distractions, leave it, focus exercises, maintaining control and so on.
How long do your classes run for?
Eazy Dog Training Obedience and Dog Manners Classes run for 4 weeks.
How do I book a class?
You can book classes via our booking calendar. You will find all the details there and availability is live at all times.
Can I come to classes at different locations?
No, you will need to choose one class and stick with that for the length of the course. Due to the limited availability in our classes, it is not possible to mix different classes at different locations.
What if I can no longer attend the classes, can I receive a refund for the remaining lessons?
No, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy from the start date of your class. We do not sell individual lessons, bookings are for the whole length of the class.
What type of training should I choose for my dog?
The rule of thumb is, if you need basic obedience training such as sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, calm greeting manners etc, you could join one of our group training classes.
If your dog barks or shows any aggression towards people or other dogs and can not focus on you even if you have high-value treats such as chicken, group classes wouldn’t work and your dog needs tailored, private training instead.
What is behavioural dog training? What is taught to the dog?
Behavioural dog training teaches your dog how to act and behave in an appropriate manner. By implementing some simple exercises and house rules for your dog, you will be able to better manage him.
How much are the classes and where are they?
All of the pricing and location details for our classes can be found on our online booking calendar. Simply click on the class you are interested in.
Can I book my reactive dog for obedience classes?
No, we do not address reactivity or aggression issues in our group classes. They are not suitable for dogs who can not cope near other dogs and people. Private training is needed for this!
I'm trying to book a class but it’s sold out, can I still book it?
No, sold out classes are no longer available for booking. Please choose another class or date.
