Eazy Dog isn't just about standard obedience, it also includes high level training for agility, nosework and complex stuff! Extremely high knowledge and skills.
I normally don’t leave Google Reviews but Anniina deserves a shout out! We travelled from about 3 hours away so that we could do some basic obedience, nosework and agility and our two-year old groodle had the time of his life. We learned so much new and valuable information and Anniina was so wonderfully patient throughout the whole process. We very much look forward to our next session with her. Thanks Anniina!
Thank you so much to Anniina and Lauren at Eazy Dog Training for helping my Charlie become a good boy.

I have done some home training sessions and an Obedience 2 course with Anniina, who is a wonderful problem solver and a really attentive trainer. She taught my very naughty pup the skills to settle, eliminated his counter surfing, and greatly improved his impulse control. In the obedience course, he learnt to heel, ignore distractions and improved his recall. I’d been trying and failing to teach Charlie these skills myself. Anniina not only helped with these issues, but overall made him a much easier dog to live and bond with.

I also did two nosework courses, both led by Lauren, which introduced Charlie to a really fun skill we can now keep working at. It’s helped with his enrichment and taught him from a young age to keep his mind focused on something.
I have been to obedience training, agility and Rally-O with EazyDog and Anniina and crew since I was a puppy and I LOVE IT. Everyone is so nice and I love being around the other dogs and engaging my mind and body. My favourite is Rally-0 !

Mama took me to Rally-0 because agility was booked out - but we’re so glad we went because we unexpectedly leant so much.

I am even allowed to walk on the footpaths without a leash sometimes now because I learnt to stop on command, to heel and to turn left and right and to not chase birds or cats - because I am focusing. We are both happier because we can understand each other better and work together. I’m not perfect - yet - far from it, but I’m getting there. And my brother wants to do Rally-O too so that he can be as smart as me.

So I tell you all you poochies out there - tell your humans to let Anniina know that you want to do Rally-0 - because this training has so much to offer. It’s not just a doggy competition sport - it’s an hour of working together one on one with you your human and it reaps so many other benefits and Anniina is the best! BOOK NOW!! Can’t wait to see you there.

My puppy has done puppy training and is now onto general obedience training with Anniina, she's very clear with her instructions and is able to devote individual time within each class for every dog.

We have been very happy at Eazy Dog Training. The classes are really well set up and Aniina is an incredible trainer - patient, enthusiastic, welcoming. The tools and skills are invaluable, and our easily distracted and excitable 7-month-old pup Eddie has made great progress so far. We have done a 1:1 session at home and also the basic obedience training. We can't wait to do more programs with Eazy Dog Training.
I highly recommend the group obedience classes with Anniinna. I attended the classes with my staffy x who is leash reactive to other dogs. My dog is overly interested in other dogs and it is hard to find other dogs that you can train amongst. The group classes gave me a space to train my dog to do basic obedience training while he is near (but not interacting) other dogs. Anniinna is clear in her instructions and is quick to identify my dog's behaviour and suggest what to do to help address the problem. Anniinna's classes are great for learning basic obedience, but especially great for my dog to work on being around other dogs and learn to not rush to investigate. For best results, combine with ongoing training at home.
I met Anniina from Eazy Dog Training just once with my reactive Groodle and the results after just one visit have been truely amazing! Anniina gave me tips and showed me how to manage him. She gave me confidence and hope. She showed me how to manage him in a way I had no idea we were missing. We are starting obedience training soon with Eazy Dog Training and I am really looking forward to it. I could see Anniina’s passion and experience instantly. I could not recommend Eazy Dog Training highly enough.

Basic manners training is important for every dog!

Everyone wants a well-behaved dog, of course. Good manners make the daily life with your dog a lot easier and fun. And it can even help to keep both of you safe in emergency situations! Most importantly, teaching your dog at least some basic obedience and necessary manners is a crucial part of being a responsible dog owner.

No one enjoys a strange dog jumping on them or stealing their picnic food. And no one enjoys walking a dog who’s pulling like a mad dog! These are every day examples of lack of impulse control. Impulse control is the key to good manners! And I’ve got good news for you – your dog doesn’t have to be naturally good at it, impulse control can be trained!

Eazy Dog Training – Dog Manners Class in Sydney

In my 4-week obedience training course in Sydney, we focus on teaching your dog essential manners and obedience skills that make them a joy to be around – both at home and when socializing with others!

Your dog will develop strong impulse control and focus, while you’ll learn how to help them stay calm in stimulating environments. By gaining better control over your dog’s behaviour, you’ll enjoy more meaningful time together. The best part? We practice these new skills around other dogs and people, ensuring your dog is prepared for real-world distractions!

Adult Dog Training Classes in Sydney

Our adult dog training classes in Sydney cover all the essential obedience commands (sit, down, stay, recall, and heel). You’ll also work on impulse control exercises like “leave it” (for food and objects) and teach your dog to calmly pass other dogs without pulling or lunging.

We also tackle common behavioural challenges, such as leash pulling, maintaining focus around distractions (like other dogs), and preventing jumping up on people. After 4 weeks of training, you’ll feel confident handling these tricky situations and know how to keep improving your dog’s behaviour in everyday life. Remember, consistency and practice are key!

By nature, your dog wants your approval. It’s how the pack survives.

Dogs are pack animals, and for the pack to thrive, they must cooperate. Over time, we’ve bred dogs to work alongside us, which is why they have an innate desire to please. However, dogs can’t meet our expectations if they don’t know what those are. Without guidance, they won’t understand what’s required. Dogs should be the ones doing things for us, not the other way around.

A spoiled dog can become a challenge to be around. In our dog manners classes in Sydney, we focus on cultivating that “working” mindset, where your dog learns to work for you. This is what fosters obedience and good manners. And it’s not complicated – with consistent steps and guidance, your dog will learn what’s expected, one step at a time.

Eazy Dog Training Obedience Classes in Sydney Include:

Sit

Teaching your dog to sit is one of the most basic and important commands. It provides a foundation for better control, helping your dog stay calm and focused in various situations. A reliable “sit” command also sets the stage for other behaviors and is essential for keeping your dog safe and well-mannered in everyday life.

Down

Teaching your dog to lie down is a key command that promotes calmness and control. It helps your dog settle in different environments, making them easier to manage during busy situations. “Down” also improves impulse control and lays the groundwork for more advanced training, making it an essential skill for a well-behaved dog.

Stay

Teaching your dog to stay is vital for safety and control. It helps keep your dog in one place, preventing them from running off or getting into dangerous situations. “Stay” also enhances impulse control and is an essential skill for maintaining a well-mannered dog, especially in distracting environments.

Come

Teaching your dog to heel is essential for walks and outdoor activities, ensuring they stay by your side without pulling or tugging. It provides better control, making your walks more enjoyable and safer for both of you. “Heel” also helps your dog focus on you, reducing distractions and fostering a stronger bond between you and your pet.

Heel
Heeling takes a lot of impulse control! Heel means staying close to you as you walk, with or without a lead. This is very useful when passing something you don’t want your dog to get interested in or when face-to-face with a reactive dog on the street. It’s also a great mental exercise and discipline training for your dog!
Calming Down and Focus Exercises

Teaching your dog calming and focus exercises is essential for helping them stay composed in distracting or exciting situations. These exercises improve impulse control, allowing your dog to remain relaxed and attentive, whether you’re at home or out in public. By focusing on you, your dog learns to manage excitement and stress, leading to a more balanced and well-behaved companion.

Leave it

Teaching your dog “leave it” is crucial for their safety and good behavior. It helps prevent your dog from picking up dangerous or undesirable objects, whether it’s food, trash, or something harmful. “Leave it” also improves impulse control and reinforces your ability to manage your dog’s actions in various situations, ensuring a safer and more disciplined companion.

Greeting & Meeting Dogs and People

Teaching your dog proper greeting and meeting manners with other dogs and people is key for fostering positive social interactions. It helps prevent unwanted behaviors like jumping, barking, or aggression when encountering others. By reinforcing calm and respectful greetings, your dog will learn how to behave appropriately in social situations, making outings more enjoyable for everyone.

Positive Reinforcement

Australian Veterinary Association recommends positive reinforcement as the best dog training method. It’s scientifically proven to be the most efficient dog training method in the world.

What does it mean? Positive reinforcement rewards wanted behaviour rather than punishing the dog for unwanted behaviour. Therefore training and learning become enjoyable for your dog.

Positive reinforcement methods are used in this dog manners class in Sydney Park for long lasting results!
