Instead of trying to fit training into an already busy schedule, one of our professional trainers works directly with your dog several times a week to build the key skills and behaviours first. Once the foundations are in place, we then teach you exactly how to maintain the training results on your own.

How the Program Works:
Step 1 – 9 × 45-Minute Professional Training Sessions for Your Dog
Your dog works directly with one of our experienced professional trainers three times a week over three weeks.
Training sessions are conducted Monday to Friday, during office hours with some after hours availability. As these sessions are carried out without the owner present, access to the dog can be arranged, or the owner may be at home while we work with the dog.
We can generally work on one more complex behavioural issue, such as reactivity, or a few more basic training issues, such as loose leash walking, general basic obedience, recall, etc. The purpose of the training is for us to be able to work on the same issue more intensively a few times a week to bring you real results and to speed up the learning for the dog.
Each 45-minute session is carefully structured to focus on building clear communication, teaching good habits, and establishing reliable responses.
Our trainers use proven, positive methods to ensure your dog learns effectively, even in the face of distractions, and progresses faster than typical home training alone.
Step 2 – Skill Building & Consistent Practice
Throughout the program, your dog develops the foundations of excellent behaviour through consistent, structured training with a skilled dog trainer.
This includes basic obedience, impulse control, and situational manners, ensuring your dog gains confidence, focus, and reliability in real-world scenarios. The repeated, professional practice ensures the behaviours become second nature, giving your dog a head start before the owner transfer.
Step 3 – Owner Transfer & Coaching Session
At the end of the program, you and your dog attend a 90-minute private lesson with your trainer, scheduled at a time that suits you. This session focuses on transferring the skills your dog has learned to you, the owner.
We demonstrate exactly how to give cues, reinforce behaviours, and maintain the results long-term. You’ll leave the session confident in your ability to continue training at home, ensuring the positive behaviours stick and your bond with your dog strengthens.
