Eazy dog training fixed my dogs aggression toward other dogs. Now I can take him for walks without anxiety that he will pick a fight with the ‘wrong dog’

Fabulous training in a safe homely environment. Very well researched and easy to manage techniques that work in a positive way with excellent results for our two reactive hounds. We can now walk safely without being scared that our dogs will do something silly.

Have done both puppy school and reliable recall training with my cocker spaniel and about to start the obedience course. Anniina is so knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly so you understand the theory behind the training. The sessions are easy and fun, with immediate results. You leave feeling confident and equipped with the right way to continue the training for results. I've been pleasantly surprised at how quickly my dog's recall has improved with just subtle changes that I've made based on Anniina's training. Highly recommend Eazy Dog Training. Thank you Anniina!

We have done the Teenage dog class and loved Anniina’s demeanour so much we are going back for her obedience course. Anniina just has a way with dogs, and teaches in ways that are so easy to understand. She is professional and personable and you can tell she really loves (and is so good at) what she does. We will use Eazy dog training for all of our dog training needs!

Eazy Training classes for re-active dogs has been amazing for our 9 month miniature schnauzer puppy. We have learnt so much and made great progress, we were beginning to think it would never be possible. Most importantly we feel more confident and relaxed on walks. We will keep it up, thank you Anniina!

Group dog training classes offer a wide range of benefits for both dogs and their owners.  One of the primary benefits of group classes is the opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. This helps them learn appropriate behaviour and reduces the likelihood of aggression or fear-based reactions. Socialization in a controlled environment ensures that your dog becomes more comfortable in public spaces and around other animals.

Training in a group setting exposes your dog to real-world distractions, such as other dogs, people, and noises. This helps improve your dog’s focus and response to commands even when there are distractions around them, making them better behaved in everyday situations. Dogs often learn better in a group environment because they tend to mimic each other. Seeing other dogs follow commands can encourage your dog to do the same. Plus, working with other dog owners helps build a sense of camaraderie, which can keep you motivated throughout the training process.

Group classes are also more affordable than private lessons, making them a great option for owners who want professional training on a budget. You still get access to expert trainers and a structured program at a lower cost than one-on-one sessions. Group classes provide a structured, consistent environment that helps both dogs and owners stay on track. The group setting typically follows a set curriculum, ensuring all essential training aspects (like basic commands and leash training) are covered.

While training in a group, you still receive individual attention from a professional trainer. Our trainers can address your dog’s specific needs within the class and offer tailored advice to help you overcome any challenges you may be facing.

Group dog training classes are not only about learning but also about having fun! It’s an enjoyable way to spend quality time with your dog, building trust and strengthening your bond. As both of you see progress, the positive reinforcement keeps the experience enjoyable for both the dog and the owner.

Sydney Dog Training School – Group Dog Training Classes in Sydney

Welcome to training your dog in a fun and rewarding way while making new friends! Join our dog training classes & puppy schools in Sydney!

Eazy Dog Training classes are always run by experienced, professional and positive dog trainers. I have personally chosen, assessed, supervised and trained all the dog trainers working for Eazy Dog Training, so that you can trust to receive high-quality training no matter which one of us is running the class.

The dog training methods used in our Eazy Dog Training School are positive, reward-based and fun for both you and your dog. And no, reward-based training doesn’t mean that you’re bribing your dog with treats to do what you want or that you’ll need to use rewards forever.

Being a dog owner means accepting the responsibility of training your dog manners. But a well-behaved dog does not happen overnight. It takes commitment, consistency and time, but is well worth the effort. Therefore an obedient dog is a valuable asset in your life, but most importantly a pleasure to be around. Dog training also makes a huge difference to your dog’s behaviour and contributes to their social skills both at home and with other dogs outside.

Eazy Dog Training offers positive puppy schools and adult dog classes in Sydney for dogs any age, breed and skill level.

Our dog training methods are based on rewarding the desired behaviour and motivating dogs to repeat the desired behaviour.

And rewards aren’t always food! You can use anything your dog likes, a favourite toy, favourite food or even a game. However, rewards will be faded out eventually. But at the beginning it’s important to use them!

A motivated, mentally stimulated dog is a happier dog. Dog training should never be frustrating or a chore! It should always be fun for both you and your dog.

Obedience training for dogs focuses on teaching them basic commands and improving their overall behaviour, ensuring they are well-mannered and responsive to their owner’s instructions. The primary goal is to create a well-behaved dog that listens to commands and exhibits proper behaviour in various situations – even around distractions!

Eazy Dog Training runs obedience and dog manners classes for 3-4 weeks, depending on the class. Training includes learning basic manners and obedience, education on how dogs learn, and the classes move on to more advanced exercises gradually every week. Our classes cover training such as sit, down, stay, not jumping up, walking on a loose lead with distractions, coming when called with distractions, ‘leave it’, focus exercises, engagement training, learning a solid ‘drop’ cue, maintaining control around distractions and so on.

Our puppy schools and teen classes are always run in private indoor locations so dogs can join as early as after the 1st vaccine at 8 weeks of age. Obedience classes can be run outdoors so the age limit is 16 weeks, after the last vaccination!

Choosing a class depends on your training needs!

In a nutshell, puppy schools are for young puppies and include basic training and puppy specifics while our teen dog classes are a step up from that including more advanced impulse control, engagement and calm walking and greeting exercises and are perfect for older puppies.

Obedience classes focus on the obedience basics: sit, down, stay, come, ‘drop’, ‘leave it’, heel, walking and greeting manners while being adjusted to every dog’s skill level and are suitable for dogs at least 16 weeks of age.

Our leash manners classes focus particularly on leash walking and polite greeting skills with people and other dogs and recall workshops cover basics and advanced training for solid recall skills.

If you don’t see what you need in our group class plans, then private training is the correct option for you!

It’s best to try and choose a class you would be able to commit to the whole length of the course, however if you miss a class we can provide a catch up lesson in one of our other available classes or you can catch up at home via our online training.
