We have now completed the teenage course and scent work with Anniina, she is absolutely fantastic! Her courses are very informative and she makes the whole session fun for the dogs and for you. Our Rottie and Jug have loved the classes and have learnt so much- I Highly recommend Eazy Dog Training!

My daughter and I loved the puppy training class. Amina taught us so much about what to expect nd how to manage our puppy in different situations. She was responsive to questions, and our puppy had a great time
Anniina was fantastic in helping us with our puppy, the classes were very informative and fun. We saw a lot of progress with our training and will definitely return.
We have done the Teenage dog class and loved Anniina’s demeanour so much we are going back for her obedience course. Anniina just has a way with dogs, and teaches in ways that are so easy to understand. She is professional and personable and you can tell she really loves (and is so good at) what she does. We will use Eazy dog training for all of our dog training needs!
Eazy Training classes for re-active dogs has been amazing for our 9 month miniature schnauzer puppy. We have learnt so much and made great progress, we were beginning to think it would never be possible. Most importantly we feel more confident and relaxed on walks. We will keep it up, thank you Anniina!
We just finished the teenager class and couldn’t recommend it more highly. We have a mini dachshund and we had struggled with training her. This class made the biggest difference. Will definitely be back for more classes.
We just completed a 4 week training program for our teenage dog & I have no doubt in my mind that Anniina is a dog whisperer! She educated us so thoroughly about how to read our dog & the ways in which they read & interpret us. This information & our classes have made such a huge difference to Max's behaviour. He's growing up to be such a well-trained pup & it's all thanks to his Eazy Dog classes 🙂 highly recommend!
Anniina is an experienced, knowledgeable and patient trainer of dogs and their people, and we’re impressed by the way she cares for her own dogs. For the past few months we’ve been working with her on some of our dog’s long standing behavioural issues and have begun to see positive changes that are accelerating. We also do private agility classes that are great fun. We’ve been to three of Anniina’s seminars (working dog, trick training and positive engagement) and learnt a ton of helpful things about how dogs see the world, what they need, how to be better dog carers and how to have more fun. Our dog is complicated and we have a long road ahead, but our experience so far with Anniina indicates we have found an excellent guide.
Eazy Dog isn't just about standard obedience, it also includes high level training for agility, nosework and complex stuff! Extremely high knowledge and skills.
Had a great time in the Canine Nosework classes! Bonded with my dog a little more, learned a new game we can play with him, and it was a great way to tire him out from the mental work. Highly recommend.

The puppy training sessions were great. I was concerned initally about taking my 8 week puppy because it only had its first vaccine - but it was a very controlled environment, and i skipped out on the socialization part at the end of class for the first week. My scottish terrier puppy took away lots of skills , and is more confident now. The best part is that he now loves to learn. My puppy is always pooped out after class and sleeps deeply and the classes have provided me with lots of tools to prevent bad behaviours. I will come back for more classes when he is older.
Eazy Dog Training provides really fun and informative training programs. The trainers are knowledgable and provide useful tips that really make a difference in your relationship with your furry friend. Agility classes highly recommended.
I normally don’t leave Google Reviews but Anniina deserves a shout out! We travelled from about 3 hours away so that we could do some basic obedience, nosework and agility and our two-year old groodle had the time of his life. We learned so much new and valuable information and Anniina was so wonderfully patient throughout the whole process. We very much look forward to our next session with her. Thanks Anniina!
We did a private puppy training with Anniina and it was very worth it. Anniina helped us to teach Mickey some basic commands which will help us to build Mickey’s behaviors in the future. We’re now planning to enroll Mickey into some of the other classes!
Thank you so much to Anniina and Lauren at Eazy Dog Training for helping my Charlie become a good boy.

I have done some home training sessions and an Obedience 2 course with Anniina, who is a wonderful problem solver and a really attentive trainer. She taught my very naughty pup the skills to settle, eliminated his counter surfing, and greatly improved his impulse control. In the obedience course, he learnt to heel, ignore distractions and improved his recall. I’d been trying and failing to teach Charlie these skills myself. Anniina not only helped with these issues, but overall made him a much easier dog to live and bond with.

I also did two nosework courses, both led by Lauren, which introduced Charlie to a really fun skill we can now keep working at. It’s helped with his enrichment and taught him from a young age to keep his mind focused on something.
On recommendation from a neighbour, I started taking my dog (who is dog reactive) to private agility classes with Anniina and then also attended a few of her group classes (working dog and trick training) without the dog, just to learn. Anniina has changed our lives. The agility is great fun and Anniina is a patient, positive and encouraging teacher of both dogs and humans, and an absolute font of dog knowledge. I have learnt so much from her along the way and look forward to learning more.
As first time puppy owners we had an incredible experience and one that I would highly recommend to others. Our puppy enjoyed it and I feel that we were given great training advice that we will be able to carry on with at home now. Amazing class and will be coming back for teenage classes.
Great dog training, even in a group class Anniina was really great at working with all of us and one on one for particular issues we were having. She is super knowledgeable and shares lots of insight into training tips and tricks! Great range of different classes as well. Highly recommend!

I have been to obedience training, agility and Rally-O with EazyDog and Anniina and crew since I was a puppy and I LOVE IT. Everyone is so nice and I love being around the other dogs and engaging my mind and body. My favourite is Rally-0 !

Mama took me to Rally-0 because agility was booked out - but we’re so glad we went because we unexpectedly leant so much.

I am even allowed to walk on the footpaths without a leash sometimes now because I learnt to stop on command, to heel and to turn left and right and to not chase birds or cats - because I am focusing. We are both happier because we can understand each other better and work together. I’m not perfect - yet - far from it, but I’m getting there. And my brother wants to do Rally-O too so that he can be as smart as me.

So I tell you all you poochies out there - tell your humans to let Anniina know that you want to do Rally-0 - because this training has so much to offer. It’s not just a doggy competition sport - it’s an hour of working together one on one with you your human and it reaps so many other benefits and Anniina is the best! BOOK NOW!! Can’t wait to see you there.

Aniinna was an amazing trainer who assisted us with the crucial periods of our puppy's development. I highly recommend anyone with a puppy to invest in her classes. Dogs are a huge investment and it's so important to have a professional like her provide a controlled environment for puppies to socialise and learn boundaries.
We have put both our dogs through Eazy Dog classes and were really happy with the training. When we needed a bit of extra help with our slightly over enthusiastic big boy we naturally turned to the Eazy Dog team. Lauren was amazing from the first private lesson. She gave us insights into why Duke behaved as he did and provided practical, doable techniques for us to use. Both at home and out Duke is improving everyday as we continue using what Lauren showed us. All of a sudden he is a calmer boy and we are enjoying walks and playtime at home. Thanks Lauren
I did the Level 1 Nosework with my dog Florence and we both had so much fun and learnt a lot! The trainer, Lauren, was patient, encouraging and enthusiastic, and gave each human & dog lots of practice time and advice each class. I can’t wait to return for Level 2!

We had Lauren as our trainer and she was amazing! She was super supportive and answered any questions we had. She was incredible with all the puppies and knew exactly how to handle them. We cannot recommend Lauren more! If you need a dog trainer, she is your girl! Not only is she a great trainer, she is also very personable and helped us feel relaxed and confident about training. We will definitely be signing up for the next classes after covid and look to book some private lessons too.
As a first time dog owner, dog training was a whole new world to me. My experience with Eazy Dog Training has made me feel confident that I am teaching my dog the foundational skills she needs, while setting clear boundaries and improving our communication. My puppy loved attending class and we’ve both learnt so much. I found the advice to be clear, tailored to the needs of the specific dog and, most importantly, effective! Thank you Anniina - we are looking forward to attending more classes in the future!

Commonly asked questions.

Puppies (up to 16 weeks):
Puppy school is recommended, or private in-home training up to 5 months.

Teen & young adult dogs (5 months–2 years):
Teen dog classes help with foundations and common adolescent behaviours.

Basic obedience (16 weeks+):
Group classes cover sit, down, stay, recall, loose leash walking, calm greetings, and impulse control.

When private training is needed

If your dog struggles with anxiety, over-arousal, fixation, or reactivity around dogs or people, group classes aren’t suitable. Signs include reacting or escalating even when using high-value treats. Private training builds skills safely under controlled conditions.

Private sessions are also recommended for reactivity, aggression, fear, separation anxiety, resource guarding, fence reactivity, or any home-based behaviours. They allow training to be tailored to your dog’s needs and environment.

It depens on your training needs!

Here’s some common guidelines:

  • Puppies up to 16 weeks of age: Puppy school
  • Older puppies and teen dogs from 16 weeks of age up to 2 years: teen dog class
  • Want solid basic obedience skills such as sit, down, stay, come, leave it, place training, heel, polite greeting manners such as not jumping on people etc.: Obedience class
  • Have already done obedience training? Advanced obedience class
  • Recall issues: Recall training seminar
  • Struggle with pulling and lunging on a leash: Stop pulling leash seminar. Note! Not Suitable for reactive dogs!

If unsure, you can find all the details including the class plans for what’s covered in the classes in our online training calendar above. Simply click on the class you are interested in and check the details.

Unfortunately group classes aren’t suitable for reactive dogs who can’t cope in a class environment near their triggers. Reactivity issues aren’t addressed in our group classes, they always require tailored, private behavioural training. Check out our reactivity training instead!

Obedience training for dogs focuses on teaching them basic commands and improving their overall behavior, ensuring they are well-mannered and responsive to their owner’s instructions. The primary goal is to create a well-behaved dog that listens to commands and exhibits proper behavior in various situations.

Any time after they have been fully vaccinated from 16 weeks of age onwards!

In a nutshell, puppy schools are for young puppies and include basic training and puppy specifics while our teen dog classes are a step up from that including more advanced impulse control, engagement and calm walking and greeting exercises for dogs aged 16 weeks to 2 years. Obedience classes focus on the obedience basics: sit, down, stay, come, ‘drop’, ‘leave it’, heel, walking and greeting manners while being adjusted to every dog’s skill level. They are suitable for all dogs from 16 weeks of age onwards.

You can check the class schedules for all of our dog training classes and choose what seems most suitable for your training needs!

Behavioral training for dogs focuses on modifying and improving specific behaviors, whether they are unwanted habits or actions that need improvement. This type of training addresses a variety of behavioral issues that dogs might exhibit, such as aggression, separation anxiety, excessive barking, jumping, reactivity, anxiety, fear, arousal issues or destructive chewing, digging etc.

The goal of behavioural training is to teach dogs more appropriate, acceptable behaviours and to help them respond positively to different situations. It’s based on understanding and managing the dog’s environment, triggers, and motivations to reinforce good behaviors while discouraging undesirable ones.

Our dog training methods are based on rewarding the desired behaviour and motivating your dog to repeat the desired behaviours.

And rewards aren’t always food! You can use anything your dog likes, a favourite toy, favourite food or even a game. However, rewards will be faded out eventually. But at the beginning it’s important to use them!

Also a motivated, mentally stimulated dog is a happier dog. Dog training should never be frustrating or a chore! It should always be fun for both you and your dog.

Being a dog owner also means accepting a responsibility to train your dog manners. But a well-behaved dog does not happen overnight.
