Dog Behaviours that Require Private Home Training
It can be tricky to know when your dog requires basic obedience training and when tailored private training is necessary instead.
In general, you should think of obedience classes more as group fitness classes. You go there to learn general beneficial things and follow the instructor while every one works at the same time. There’s no individual, private training included apart from short moments of checking your progress and helping you out if needed.Â
Private home training is fully tailored to your needs and is 100% focused on you and your dog, there are no other people present. So it’s like having a personal trainer instead of doing a class.
In the above picture you can find a list of behaviours that always require private training, they can not be resolved in obedience classes.
