Make Your Own Puzzle Toys
Mental stimulation for dogs doesn’t have to be expensive, it can be as simple as using what you have at home such as a toilet paper roll, empty box, full toy box, towel, long grass in the garden… These can all be turned into puzzle toys by using treats.
Simply place treats inside the roll, empty box, towel or full toy box and let your dog find them! The better your dog gets the more difficult you can make this game by closing the box, rolling the towel etc. Long grass can also be used as nature’s snuffle mat!
