Did you know that traditional dog walking can actually reinforce bad habits and cause behavioural issues? This is due to the uncontrolled walking they provide. I used to do dog walking myself and know very well the challenges that come with it such as anti-social dogs, dogs with reactivity/aggression issues, over-excitement and frustration problems, bad leash manners etc. the list goes on! I never enjoyed dog walking due to lack of control: when you walk 4 dogs there’s no chance to properly train them and they will be able to, for example, pull and lunge on lead. And it’s never safe to let unfamiliar dogs off-leash so that’s another safety issue with it. That’s why, as a dog trainer,  I don’t recommend traditional dog walking unless it’s individual walking.
