A few months earlier I had done another local puppy school with a different dog. The comparison between that class to Eazy Dog Training is huge, on all levels. Anniina classes are excellent. I would happily recommend Eazy Dog Training to all dog owners and in fact, have already signed up to our next class.
Definitely my puppy ( Jasper ) have taken away valuable skills. 👍
I also got the home training package. And it was so good! We got to work on the particular challenges my dog was facing.
Something concrete that sums up my experience: before Eazy Dog Training, my dog went for my baby's feet at every opportunity, so we had to keep them separated. After approx. 5 weeks of both puppy school and individualised training, our dog has learned that baby is 100% off limits. Baby sometimes pats our dog in places he doesn't like (tail, ears) but our dog has learned he's not supposed to react to baby, so he doesn't. Our baby also likes offering treats, and can you believe this? Our dog isn't even reacting to the treats if they come from our baby!
He has nailed down his basic obedience as we get lots of amazement at the park when practicing. Maybe time to move onto the next class! Thank you Anniina!
Anniina was great and kept our puppy school classes safe and fun.
Would highly recommend Eazy Dog Training.
Her knowledge and ability to impart it in an easy to understand and logical manner is exceptional. Puppy school together with individual home visits to address specific problems have made an incredible difference to our three month old English Springer Spaniel.
Although it’s probably true to say my wife and I needed more straightening out than our Puppy. We had no idea so many of the things we were applying were detrimental rather than beneficial to our puppy’s education and state of mind. All three of us are enjoying being around each other much more now we know how to comunicate better.
We look forward to continuing our education with Aura and Easy Dog Training.
We reached out for 1-on-1 training as, in addition to regular puppy school which we have our dog participating in, we identified that our pup would benefit from training in a more tailored setting to give her the best chance of success to overcome issues with anxiety and timidness around new people and dogs during the socialisation phase.
Aura was fantastic, giving us plenty of helpful advice and areas to focus on. The process of raising a new pup so far has been stressful and overbearing, and it was great to have a dedicated resource to ask all the questions we have been having problems finding answers for, without having to compete with attention of other dogs/owners in the class.
We couldn't recommend Aura highly enough, and will consider coming back for a follow up session and also obedience classes through Eazy Dog Training.
When we brought our puppy Evie home, she was extremely anxious outside of our home. She refused to go out the front door, and would be scared to the point of shaking or running away when cars went past on the road. Evie spent puppy classes mostly hiding under our chair, avoiding all people and all puppies. The instructors were extremely understanding and helpful, offering lots of advice and always supporting our puppy to improve her confidence.
We also had a 2 hour private consultation with Monika, who observed Evie’s behaviour in our home and discussed our problems with absolutely no judgement at all. She let us know what we were doing correctly, what we could improve on and suggested other things we could try. After the consultation, Monika also sent through a lot of additional resources to us as reference as well.
The last four months, we’ve been persevering with the training advice and we have been able to make so much progress and we have been able to do things with Evie that we never thought we’d be able to do. She now loves other dogs in the parks and will run up and play with them; she will occasionally sniff strangers in the park; she is excited for walks when we put her on leash and is waiting to go out the front door; we have even managed to take her for an hour long walk to the CBD along some busy roads without her being scared. It has been a slow process with many setbacks (little things like scooters going past just as she tried to step out the front door, motorbikes or sirens going past as she first tried crossing the road) but we know that the process and all the positive training advice that Eazy Dog Training and Monika have provided definitely work.
We want to say a huge thank you to them for helping us improve Evie’s quality of life and we definitely suggest anyone facing any issues with their dogs to give them a try.

Which service should I book for my dog?
Puppies (up to 16 weeks):
Puppy school is recommended, or private in-home training up to 5 months.
Teen & young adult dogs (over 16 weeks of age–2 years):
Teen dog classes help with foundations and common adolescent behaviours.
Basic obedience (16 weeks+):
Group classes cover sit, down, stay, recall, loose leash walking, calm greetings, and impulse control.
When private training is needed
If your dog struggles with anxiety, over-arousal, fixation, or reactivity around dogs or people, group classes aren’t suitable. Signs include reacting or escalating even when using high-value treats. Private training builds skills safely under controlled conditions. Private sessions are also recommended for reactivity, aggression, fear, separation anxiety, resource guarding, fence reactivity, or any home-based behaviours. They allow training to be tailored to your dog’s needs and environment.
My puppy hasn't been fully vaccinated yet, can I still join puppy school?
Yes, in fact it is best to join as early as possible since the most important socialisation period for dogs is 8-12 weeks of age. This is ideal for puppy school as well. Studies show no increased health risks in puppy schools and plenty of behavioural benefits.
Puppy schools are always run in private locations, never in public outdoor spaces. All our locations are safe and cleaned with F10 which vets use as well to eliminate health risks such as Parvo. We have never had any health issues in our puppy schools!
Dog parks and socialisation with unknown dogs is what you should avoid before your dog is fully vaccinated. Puppy schools provide safe socialisation for young puppies!
I want to book, is there still availability?
Our online booking is live and available 24/7 so you can book anytime – the class will show as sold out if it’s not available anymore!
What age can my puppy join puppy classes?
Any time from 8 weeks to 16 weeks of age, after their first vaccination at 6 weeks of age. Please note that puppies do not need to be fully vaccinated to attend puppy school, the first vaccine is enough. In fact, waiting too long before attending puppy school can result in behavioural issues since the most important socialisation period for dogs is 8-12 weeks of age.
Puppy schools are never run in public, only in private and safe spaces cleaned well with the same cleaning products vets use for their clinics (F10). Studies show no increased health risks in puppy schools, we have never had any health issues in our classes.
All puppies must be on a vaccination program and parasite control.
My puppy is over 16 weeks of age, can we still attend puppy school?
Our puppy school is designed for puppies in their crucial socialisation period, up to 16 weeks of age. For older puppies, our popular teen dog classes are perfect.
How many puppies per class?
Depending on the size of the space, we take up to 9 puppies per class. We will always maintain a good learning environment by limiting the amount of people (max 2 people per puppy) while providing good social experiences for the puppies.
When is the best time to join puppy school?
As early as possible from 8 weeks of age. The best time to join puppy school is typically between 8 to 16 weeks of age. The most important socialisation period is 8-12 weeks of age, this is the best time to start! This is when puppies are most receptive to learning and socialising, and their critical developmental period for socialisation occurs.
Early training helps set a strong foundation for good behaviour, builds confidence, and reduces the risk of behavioural issues in the future. However, even if your puppy is older, it’s never too late to start training and socialising them! Our teen classes are great for puppies older than 16 weeks of age!
What is the socialisation like in the puppy classes?
There’s socialisation and play time at the end of each class – in a structured and controlled way. All puppies are individuals with different temperaments and we make sure socialisation is done gently considering everyone’s confidence level. In the second class we educate the owners on how to socialise puppies correctly and how to learn to recognise good play and socialisation. We keep it all safe and positive!
My puppy is tiny, do you have classes for small breeds?
Our classes are suitable for all breeds, including small puppies. Socialisation is carefully controlled and managed to ensure a safe and positive experience for every dog. It’s important for puppies to be exposed to a variety of dogs in a structured way, rather than avoiding certain breeds, as this helps prevent fear and builds confidence.
What is puppy training?
Puppy training is the process of teaching your puppy essential skills and good behaviours from an early age. It focuses on basic commands like sit, down, stay, come, and leash manners, as well as socialisation, impulse control, and problem-solving. Puppy training helps your dog develop good habits, builds a strong bond between you and your dog, and sets the foundation for a well-behaved dog in adulthood. It also addresses important skills for dealing with distractions, meeting new people or dogs, and managing fear or anxiety in different environments. Puppy training is recommended for all puppies up to 5 months of age.
