Eazy Dog Training – Booking Conditions, Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Payment Terms
- All products and services must be paid in full prior to delivery or commencement.
- Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST, unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- All cancellations or changes must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled session.
- No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for changes or cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance. This includes all reasons such as: change of mind, forgetting the session, illness or injury (human or dog), surgery or medical appointments, work or travel conflicts, rehoming or returning the dog etc.
- Prepaid training sessions and packages are non-refundable, including any partially used sessions.
- All cancellations will incur a $50 service fee, covering admin time and bank chargeback fees.
- Missed sessions will not be refunded or rescheduled unless the session was cancelled by the trainer or falls within this cancellation policy. Please carefully consider your schedule and commitment before booking. Dog training requires consistency. Refunds will not be provided due to lack of planning or commitment.Cancellations of Multi-Session Packages and Group Classes
- A 72-hour cancellation policy applies before the start of your first scheduled session.
- No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the first scheduled session.
3. Class Attendance Conditions
- A maximum of two people per dog may attend in-person group training classes.
- Children under the age of 7 are not permitted to attend group classes, to ensure a safe and focused learning environment.
- All attendees must be able to follow the trainer’s instructions and contribute to a calm training setting.
4. Transferring Bookings

- Bookings may not be transferred or sold to a third party without prior approval from Eazy Dog Training.
- If you are unable to attend you can send someone else with your dog, or attend without your dog to take notes, or do a catch up lesson at one of our other locations if available for your class, or access available online resources, where applicable.
5. Consumer Guarantees
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the product or service:
- Is faulty, damaged, or unsafe
- Is not of acceptable quality
- Does not match the description or demonstration
- Fails to perform as promised
If you believe an item is faulty or misrepresented:
- Contact us within 5 days of purchase with a description and supporting images.
- The item may need to be returned for assessment.
- If found faulty, we will offer a suitable remedy and cover return shipping.
6. Change of Mind Policy
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any change-of-mind purchases.
7. Training Sessions & Expiry
- Once a training service has begun (in-person or online), it is non-refundable.
- All in-home sessions must be used within 6 months of the purchase date. Unused sessions beyond this time will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
8. Training Terms Behavioural & Puppy Training
- Dogs with issues such as reactivity, aggression, or separation anxiety require private behavioural training regardless of age.
- Puppy sessions are for dogs under 20 weeks of age and cover basic puppy training, such as: toilet training, puppy biting, building independence, basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc.), leash manners introduction
Client Commitment
Dog training is a partnership — we are committed to helping you, and we ask the same in return. Without consistency and follow-through, progress cannot be achieved.
9. Owner Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for your dog’s behaviour and any injury or damage they may cause during training.
- You must inform the trainer of: Past behaviour concerns (e.g. aggression, reactivity, anxiety, bite history), any relevant medical history, allergies, or dietary needs
10. Treat Use During Training
- We may use high-value training treats such as chicken, cheese, green tripe etc. during sessions.
- Most dogs tolerate these well. However, if your dog has dietary restrictions, please bring your own suitable treats.
11. Service Area
We service Sydney Inner West and CBD suburbs within 10 km. We do not service suburbs over 15 km from the Sydney CBD. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your suburb is included.
12. Trainer Cancellations and changes to your booking
If a session is cancelled by the trainer due to illness or unexpected circumstances:
- You will be notified by email and/or phone.
- Please add info@eazydogtraining.com to your contact list.
- You will be offered either: a full refund, or a rescheduled session at the next available time
- If we need to make any changes regarding to your booking with us, we will inform you personally via email and text message or call. We will always follow up to ensure you received our message about any changes that apply to your booking.
