Eazy Dog Training – Booking Conditions, Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Payment Terms

  • All products and services must be paid in full prior to delivery or commencement.
  • Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST, unless otherwise stated.

2. No Change-of-Mind Refunds and cancellation policy

We do not offer refunds for change of mind or changed circumstances. This includes all reasons, such as changes to your schedule, work or availability, moving house, rehoming the dog or deciding the service is no longer needed etc. However, we may be able to reschedule your booking to another date, class or session, subject to availability, if you contact us at least 72 hours before the service starts.

A cancellation and rescheduling policy of 72h applies to all private training bookings and 7 days to all group class bookings.

3. Sale and Discounted Purchases

Purchases made during a sale, or using a discount or promo code, are final and are not eligible for refunds or recsheduling.

4. Medical Reasons: Transfers, Credit or Catch-Up Lessons, Not Refunds

If you or your dog can’t attend training due to illness or injury, we may offer a transfer to another class, date or session (subject to availability), or a credit towards a future service.

  • Group classes: if you miss a lesson due to illness or injury, we may offer a catch-up lesson in another class, subject to availability.
  • A medical certificate or vet certificate is required.
  • Requests must be made at least 72 hours before the start of the service.
  • Transfers and credits must be used within 6 months of the original start date.
  • Refunds are not offered in place of a transfer, credit or catch-up lesson. In cases of severe illness or injury preventing the dog from attending at all, a refund may be considered at our discretion (the $50 cancellation fee applies).

5. Cancellation Fee

A $50 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations and refunds, unless initiated by us. This covers bank fees and the admin work related to your booking.

6. Once Your Service Has Started

  • No cancellations, refunds or rescheduling are available once a service has started (the first day of training) or has been delivered, including online courses and digital content.
  • Group classes are sold as a full course, not individual lessons. Individual or missed lessons are not refunded, but a catch-up may be offered in another class if available.
  • Pre-paid training packages are non-refundable, including partially used packages.
  • In-home training sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase. Unused sessions are forfeited and not refunded or credited.

7. No Swaps Between Services

Once a service has started or been completed, its fee cannot be transferred or put towards a different service or training package. For example:

  • A group class cannot be swapped to private training after the course has started.
  • A private lesson or initial assessment that has already taken place cannot be put towards another training package, such as our 8-week reactivity program.

8. Transferring Bookings

    • Bookings may not be transferred or sold to a third party without prior approval from Eazy Dog Training.
    • If you are unable to attend, you can send someone else with your dog, or attend without your dog to take notes, or do a catch-up lesson at one of our other locations if available for your class, or access available online resources, where applicable.

9. Class Attendance Conditions

  • A maximum of two people per dog may attend in-person group training classes.
  • Children under the age of 7 are not permitted to attend group classes, to ensure a safe and focused learning environment.
  • All attendees must be able to follow the trainer’s instructions and contribute to a calm training setting.
  • Eazy Dog Training reserves the right to remove any dog from a group class if, in our professional assessment, the dog is unable to cope safely or comfortably within the group environment, or its behaviour is significantly impacting the safety, wellbeing or learning experience of other participants. In such circumstances, the dog will be removed from the group class, and no refund will be provided for the class, course or remaining sessions. Our decision regarding a dog’s suitability to participate in a group class is at the discretion of Eazy Dog Training and may be made at any time during the course.

10. Training Terms Behavioural & Puppy Training

  • Dogs with issues such as reactivity, aggression, or separation anxiety require private behavioural training regardless of age.
  • Private puppy training sessions are for dogs under 20 weeks of age and cover basic puppy training, such as: toilet training, puppy biting, building independence, basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc.), leash manners introduction
