Have done both puppy school and reliable recall training with my cocker spaniel and about to start the obedience course. Anniina is so knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly so you understand the theory behind the training. The sessions are easy and fun, with immediate results. You leave feeling confident and equipped with the right way to continue the training for results. I've been pleasantly surprised at how quickly my dog's recall has improved with just subtle changes that I've made based on Anniina's training. Highly recommend Eazy Dog Training. Thank you Anniina!

Puppy school was brilliant. Team was very accommodating and let me take one of the classes in a different location.

I have recently completed the puppy class with Eazy Dog Training. Anniina is an excellent trainer and instructor. Her classes are full of lots of information, both about training and the dogs wellbeing. Her training instructions are clear and helpful, accompanied with a demonstration. She provides both a basic command, as well as a couple of more advanced levels so you can train your puppy further. Her on-line content is very thorough, to assist your training at home.

A few months earlier I had done another local puppy school with a different dog. The comparison between that class to Eazy Dog Training is huge, on all levels. Anniina classes are excellent. I would happily recommend Eazy Dog Training to all dog owners and in fact, have already signed up to our next class.

We took our puppy to puppy school and had a great experience! It helped our whole family be consistent in training our new family member! Will book more classes! Thanks
The skills we learnt at this puppy school allowed us to train our sensitive puppy into a confident dog. The classes were quick and teach you to teach your dog. This is important because training needs to be done every day, not just once a week! The socialisation was the most valuable part of the physical class for us, where as the online material was the most valuable educational element (our puppy was too stressed and car sick to actually participate in training in the class, it was much easier to start it at home). The only down side is that access to the online material expires after 6months, that is a real shame as I was going through it slowly and having access to it as a support for the first year would have been super handy. It’s also great that you can message the trainer with questions during the week and her responses are valuable. I would recommend this school.

We've taken our puppy to two courses with Anniina at Eazy Dog Training and all got a lot out of them. Anniina had an incredible, instant rapport with our pup. We found the online support material for the puppy school great and we also subscribe to the Eazy Dog newsletter and regularly click through to the videos and read the articles - have learned a lot about many aspects of dog ownership and had great fun following some of the tips for 'engagement'!
We had a wonderful experience with Puppy School. Great tips, great socialisation and all round a fun experience. Don’t hesitate to enrol your puppy! You’ll also learn a lot too (possibly more than the pup).
Thank you Anniina for great fun n professional puppy school training,
Definitely my puppy ( Jasper ) have taken away valuable skills. 👍
My puppy just completed his 4-week long puppy school and both of us have learned so much! This school goes beyond teaching your dog to sit, lie down, etc. (which they will learn too) but, more importantly, it taught me how to develop a strong and trusting relationship with my dog.
I also got the home training package. And it was so good! We got to work on the particular challenges my dog was facing.
Something concrete that sums up my experience: before Eazy Dog Training, my dog went for my baby's feet at every opportunity, so we had to keep them separated. After approx. 5 weeks of both puppy school and individualised training, our dog has learned that baby is 100% off limits. Baby sometimes pats our dog in places he doesn't like (tail, ears) but our dog has learned he's not supposed to react to baby, so he doesn't. Our baby also likes offering treats, and can you believe this? Our dog isn't even reacting to the treats if they come from our baby!
We first started using Eazy Dog Training during covid when we attended the puppy school it was a challenging time for all however I feel we were set with the foundations to having a well behaved pup following the programme. We have just finished our second training programme (obedience level 1) and are about to book our third (leash manners) I couldn’t recommend Eazy Dog Training enough there is nowhere else I would choose to engage in training with our dog, Anniina is highly skilled professional person and sets the bar high when it comes to anything involving dog training.Every training session has been of benefit to us and our dog responses extremely well to the training techniques used. Everything we have participated in has been easy to follow and are always given time to practice and accomplish the task at hand. We look forward to our next training programme with eazy dog training!
Anniina was amazing! My new puppy completed the 4 week puppy school and he and I learned some really helpful basic skills and he seems to really enjoy practicing too. I also asked Anniina to attend my home for a session with both my dogs together, as my 2-year old dog was having trouble adjusting to the new family member. This was amazing - we were taught some very effective strategies that we practiced for short periods each day, to increase patience and impulse control….within a week the dogs were getting on brilliantly and meal times and treats are enjoyed calmly. Thanks so much for your sharing your skills
Highly recommend Eazy Dog Training!!! We have completed puppy school, obedience L1, trick class and had an in home session with our Border Collie. Not only does she love the training, we humans always learn so much and have a lot of fun. All the trainers we have worked with are incredible dog whisperers and get amazing results. I cant thank the team enough, and as I said previously, I highly recommend!
Very fantastic puppy school! Kovan loved it here especially the last few minutes playing with other pups. Great online resources, clicker and training pouch. Great for new puppy owners or owners who needs a refresher.

He has nailed down his basic obedience as we get lots of amazement at the park when practicing. Maybe time to move onto the next class! Thank you Anniina!
We have had our golden retriever puppy, Cosmo, since December and have had 3 private sessions with Lauren since, as well as attending puppy school with Anniina. Lauren has been absolutely fantastic to work with, she is so patient and knowledgeable and no question is left unanswered! Lauren has helped us achieve so much with Cosmo and she has taught me and my husband such great skills to be able to raise a well socialised, well mannered, happy and obedient dog! We feel really confident with the foundation that Lauren has helped us establish and the encouragement she has given us . We also attended puppy school and loved every second of it, the things we learnt were really practical and skills that we have really valued and enjoyed implementing into our training. I couldn't recommend these guys enough!

Great classes and online training. Have learnt so much as has our puppy!
Anniina was great and kept our puppy school classes safe and fun.
Would highly recommend Eazy Dog Training.
We attended puppy school and can highly recommend this course. Comes with access to an online training program to help solidify your dog's learning. Anniina was knowledgeable and experienced, and was willing to answer additional questions via email. The only thing we missed was the opportunity to do leash training as the venue was indoors.
Highly recommend their puppy pre-school! Really helped us through the difficult first few weeks with our puppy Molly. She is now much more confident and settled and plays well with other puppies. Lauren is a terrific and encouraging teacher - thanks for having us!
I had a fantastic experience bringing my puppy for training and I would really recommend Eazy Dog Training to those looking for a puppy school in Sydney.
Excellent puppy school! Very good trainer with lots of great info. Mocha and I will be back for more classes. Thank you.

Anniina and her team are brilliant! We've been to several Eazy Dog classes from puppy school, over obedience to agility and we loved every one of them. During lockdown we'll be getting some 1 on 1 help with our over-excited reactive dog and we're looking forward to regular classes when they are back on. Highly recommend!
Attended puppy school a few months ago and loved it! I plan to enroll my dog in agility classes once he’s old enough 🙂
A big thank you to Eazy Dog Training and their trainer Aura.

Her knowledge and ability to impart it in an easy to understand and logical manner is exceptional. Puppy school together with individual home visits to address specific problems have made an incredible difference to our three month old English Springer Spaniel.
Although it’s probably true to say my wife and I needed more straightening out than our Puppy. We had no idea so many of the things we were applying were detrimental rather than beneficial to our puppy’s education and state of mind. All three of us are enjoying being around each other much more now we know how to comunicate better.
We look forward to continuing our education with Aura and Easy Dog Training.
We reached out to Eazy Dog Training for our 11 week old Manchester Terrier and were matched up with Aura for a 2 hour puppy training session.

We reached out for 1-on-1 training as, in addition to regular puppy school which we have our dog participating in, we identified that our pup would benefit from training in a more tailored setting to give her the best chance of success to overcome issues with anxiety and timidness around new people and dogs during the socialisation phase.

Aura was fantastic, giving us plenty of helpful advice and areas to focus on. The process of raising a new pup so far has been stressful and overbearing, and it was great to have a dedicated resource to ask all the questions we have been having problems finding answers for, without having to compete with attention of other dogs/owners in the class.

We couldn't recommend Aura highly enough, and will consider coming back for a follow up session and also obedience classes through Eazy Dog Training.
I would highly recommend Eazy Dog Training for puppy school, obedience classes and especially for one on one consultations for anxious dogs.

When we brought our puppy Evie home, she was extremely anxious outside of our home. She refused to go out the front door, and would be scared to the point of shaking or running away when cars went past on the road. Evie spent puppy classes mostly hiding under our chair, avoiding all people and all puppies. The instructors were extremely understanding and helpful, offering lots of advice and always supporting our puppy to improve her confidence.

We also had a 2 hour private consultation with Monika, who observed Evie’s behaviour in our home and discussed our problems with absolutely no judgement at all. She let us know what we were doing correctly, what we could improve on and suggested other things we could try. After the consultation, Monika also sent through a lot of additional resources to us as reference as well.

The last four months, we’ve been persevering with the training advice and we have been able to make so much progress and we have been able to do things with Evie that we never thought we’d be able to do. She now loves other dogs in the parks and will run up and play with them; she will occasionally sniff strangers in the park; she is excited for walks when we put her on leash and is waiting to go out the front door; we have even managed to take her for an hour long walk to the CBD along some busy roads without her being scared. It has been a slow process with many setbacks (little things like scooters going past just as she tried to step out the front door, motorbikes or sirens going past as she first tried crossing the road) but we know that the process and all the positive training advice that Eazy Dog Training and Monika have provided definitely work.

We want to say a huge thank you to them for helping us improve Evie’s quality of life and we definitely suggest anyone facing any issues with their dogs to give them a try.

When private training is needed

If your dog struggles with anxiety, over-arousal, fixation, or reactivity around dogs or people, group classes aren’t suitable. Signs include reacting or escalating even when using high-value treats. Private training builds skills safely under controlled conditions. Private sessions are also recommended for reactivity, aggression, fear, separation anxiety, resource guarding, fence reactivity, or any home-based behaviours. They allow training to be tailored to your dog’s needs and environment.

Yes, in fact it is best to join as early as possible since the most important socialisation period for dogs is 8-12 weeks of age. This is ideal for puppy school as well. Studies show no increased health risks in puppy schools and plenty of behavioural benefits.

Puppy schools are always run in private locations, never in public outdoor spaces. All our locations are safe and cleaned with F10 which vets use as well to eliminate health risks such as Parvo. We have never had any health issues in our puppy schools!

Dog parks and socialisation with unknown dogs is what you should avoid before your dog is fully vaccinated. Puppy schools provide safe socialisation for young puppies!

Our online booking is live and available 24/7 so you can book anytime – the class will show as sold out if it’s not available anymore!

Any time from 8 weeks to 16 weeks of age, after their first vaccination at 6 weeks of age. Please note that puppies do not need to be fully vaccinated to attend puppy school, the first vaccine is enough. In fact, waiting too long before attending puppy school can result in behavioural issues since the most important socialisation period for dogs is 8-12 weeks of age.

Puppy schools are never run in public, only in private and safe spaces cleaned well with the same cleaning products vets use for their clinics (F10). Studies show no increased health risks in puppy schools, we have never had any health issues in our classes.

All puppies must be on a vaccination program and parasite control.

Our puppy school is designed for puppies in their crucial socialisation period, up to 16 weeks of age. For older puppies, our popular teen dog classes are perfect.

Depending on the size of the space, we take up to 9 puppies per class. We will always maintain a good learning environment by limiting the amount of people (max 2 people per puppy) while providing good social experiences for the puppies.

As early as possible from 8 weeks of age. The best time to join puppy school is typically between 8 to 16 weeks of age. The most important socialisation period is 8-12 weeks of age, this is the best time to start! This is when puppies are most receptive to learning and socialising, and their critical developmental period for socialisation occurs.

Early training helps set a strong foundation for good behaviour, builds confidence, and reduces the risk of behavioural issues in the future. However, even if your puppy is older, it’s never too late to start training and socialising them! Our teen classes are great for puppies older than 16 weeks of age!

There’s socialisation and play time at the end of each class – in a structured and controlled way. All puppies are individuals with different temperaments and we make sure socialisation is done gently considering everyone’s confidence level. In the second class we educate the owners on how to socialise puppies correctly and how to learn to recognise good play and socialisation. We keep it all safe and positive!

Our classes are suitable for all breeds, including small puppies. Socialisation is carefully controlled and managed to ensure a safe and positive experience for every dog. It’s important for puppies to be exposed to a variety of dogs in a structured way, rather than avoiding certain breeds, as this helps prevent fear and builds confidence.

Puppy training is the process of teaching your puppy essential skills and good behaviours from an early age. It focuses on basic commands like sit, down, stay, come, and leash manners, as well as socialisation, impulse control, and problem-solving. Puppy training helps your dog develop good habits, builds a strong bond between you and your dog, and sets the foundation for a well-behaved dog in adulthood. It also addresses important skills for dealing with distractions, meeting new people or dogs, and managing fear or anxiety in different environments. Puppy training is recommended for all puppies up to 5 months of age.
