Herding, searching, running, detecting, swimming, jumping, fetching, agility, showing, obedience…The list of things you can do – and even compete in- is very long! And you don’t need to own a kelpie or border collie, all breeds have qualities that can be harnessed to do amazing things. So this year I challenge you to try something new with your dog! Book an obedience class or try out agility to see how amazing dogs can be!
And remember, if you do have a hard working breed such as kelpie, koolie, border collie, cattle dog etc. they need a job to do. If you don’t provide one, they will come up with one. And it might be something you don’t like.
